Students start from the beginner level and aim to reach B2 proficiency(equivalent to JLPT N2) by the time of graduation.
1-year and 6-month Course

This program begins in October and concludes in March of the following year.
Students start from the lower-intermediate level and aim to reach B2 proficiency (equivalent to JLPT N2) by the time of graduation.
Beginner
Target Level:A2(JLPT N4)
Students will acquire a fundamental understanding of particles and verbs, enabling them to use commonly encountered expressions accurately in daily life. They will be able to conduct basic conversations, such as those involving shopping or making simple requests, and deliver short presentations (1–2 minutes) using photographs. Through this course, students will develop the ability to read and comprehend texts on familiar topics, understand simple spoken dialogues, and express their personal experiences and interests clearly in written form, using 200–400 characters.
Lower-Intermediate
Target Level:B1(JLPT N3)
Students will learn to understand and appropriately use both casual expressions and honorific language, depending on the situation and the person they are speaking with. They will be able to make suggestions, requests, and exchange opinions with friends as well as with superiors, and give presentations of around three minutes on topics such as their hometown or movies. Students will develop the ability to read introductory texts and emails, grasp the general meaning of spoken conversations, and write messages or opinion pieces of approximately 600 characters.
Intermediate
Target Level:Lower B2(JLPT N3/N2)
Students will develop the ability to use appropriate expressions for various daily and social situations, considering the listener and communication purpose. They will be able to exchange information, consult on social topics, and explain complex matters clearly. Students will also acquire skills for presentations on local or social issues, using visual aids, and can extract key information from sources like newspapers and online articles. Additionally, they will write clear explanations of personal experiences or social topics in 400-600 characters.
Upper-Intermediate
Target Level:Upper B2(JLPT N2)
Students will gain the ability to understand and accurately use advanced vocabulary, abstract expressions, and language necessary for expressing their own opinions in a grammatically correct manner. They will be able to conduct smooth interviews and give well-structured presentations based on prepared content. Students will develop the skills to grasp the main points of specialized texts and newspaper articles, as well as comprehend the content of lectures and interviews. Furthermore, they will be able to explain their own ideas and research findings on social issues or abstract topics in a coherent written piece of approximately 600 to 800 characters.
